Back acne and chest acne are frustrating and hard to treat for 2 main
reasons: 1. The skin here is thick and facial acne products don't
penetrate it well, 2. The causes of back acne and chest acne are often
different than regular facial acne and most acne medicines don't treat
these issues.
The major cause of most back and chest acne in my practice is a yeast germ called
pityrosporum. The non prescription medicine zinc pyrithione helps kill
pityrosporum. Zinc pyrithione isn't typically included in acne products,
but OTB SKIN Medicated Cleanser #2 contains zinc pyrithione, making it
the best acne skin care product for treating this frustrating form of
acne. The foaming cleanser lifts oil and dirt, and reaches deep into
pores to kill pityrosporum yeast. The same yeast germ causes scalp acne,
and OTB SKIN Medicated Cleanser #2 can be used as a shampoo as well.
I've treated thousands of patients with back and chest acne over the
past 20 years. OTB SKIN Medicated Cleanser #2 is a professional skin
care product that targets what I have learned over the years to be an
important cause of back acne for my patient. This experience is what
separates professional skin care from over the counter skin care; treating
the often forgotten or unknown yeast pityrospoum is the treatment 'secret'
that often clears back acne making OTB SKIN Medicated Cleanser #2 an
important ingredient in any successful back acne treatment.
I recommend using OTB SKIN Medicated Cleanser #2 every day or every
other day. Massage the cleanser onto your skin creating a foam and leave
the foam on your skin or scalp for 5 minutes then rinse well.
Medicated Cleanser #2 works beautifully for back acne and chest acne when
alternated with OTB SKIN Medicated Cleanser #1
in my Back Acne Kit.
